Program description

Explore and learn, marrying language study and travel. Discover all the richness of Montreal and the surrounding regions. This program is for cultural gourmands who see themselves as travelers not tourists.

The Travel Program  runs from June – September.

It can be customized for groups of any age.  Contact us for more details.

Schedule

30 hrs / week

Monday – Thursday 10:00-13:00

Vocabulary Building, Skills Acquisition & Practice

Monday – Thursday 13:30-16:30

Activities in Montreal i.e. Festivals, Olympic Stadium, Museums, etc.

Fridays 10:00-18:00

Field-trip outside of Montreal i.e. Ottawa, Mont Tremblant, Eastern Townships, etc.

Mondays & Thursdays 16:00-18:00

Tea Time (optional)

Tuesdays 15:30-17:30

Club Activities (optional)

Wednesdays 15:30-16:30

Course Descriptions
Morning courses:

Vocabulary Building: students practice vocabulary that they are interested in mastering
Skills Acquisition: teacher presents or reviews communication skills students lack
Skills Practice: students refine their skills and put into practice what they have learned

Afternoon course:

Discover Montreal: activities in Montreal exploring local communities and culture. 

Friday activity:

Field Trip: short excursions exploring the surrounding region aimed to enlighten and refresh i.e. discover the charming streets of old Quebec, the wilderness of the Laurention mountains, or the museums of stately Ottawa

Extracurricular activities:

Club Activities: (optional)

Through social activities like playing board games, dining out, hiking, or grabbing a pint, everyone in the full-time language programs can get together, have a good time and activate their language of study.

Volunteer Club: (optional)

Under the guidance of our helpful coordinator, students take the initiative and work with local organizations to enrich the community and foster social change.

Tea Time: (optional)

friendly volunteers provide a safe environment to practice real conversation with local people
